CSI Builds Chairs for Newly Remodeled University of Nebraska - Kearney Cafeteria
Cornhusker State Industries (CSI) recently delivered chairs to the University of Nebraska at Kearney's new cafeteria, The Graze, which underwent remodeling over the last year. The university selected our new seating collection called Sitka. The styles they selected were: Sitka 4-Leg Stack Chairs, Sitka Cafe Stools, and Sitka Task Stools.
The Sitka chairs all feature the world's first true ergonomic stack chair. Sitka's Perfect Pivot is a patented frictionless mechanism that exactly mirrors natural body movement to provide the ultimate in sitting comfort. Backrest assembly moves over-molded slide brushings and is supported by steel coil springs. This mechanism allows the backrest to move fifteen degrees about an axis of rotation that is through the hips of the sitter.
The University staff love that the chairs are easy to clean off after a busy lunch rush, and accommodate any student. These chairs really give a modern flare anywhere they are!

These chairs were assembled in Shop 20 the Chair/Woodshop located in the Nebraska State Penitentiary.
