The Sitka 4-Leg Stack Chair with Casters features the world's first true ergonomic stack chair. Sitka's Perfect Pivot™ is a patented frictionless mechanism that exactly mirrors natural body movement to provide the ultimate in sitting comfort. Backrest assembly moves over molded slide bushings and is supported by steel coil springs. This mechanism allows the backrest to move 15 degrees about an axis of rotation that is through the hips of the sitter. Sitka uses injection-molded polypropylene (Poly) shells and seat liner board along with 12-gauge steel under seat structure. Optional upholstery over 1" thick seat foam and ½" thick back foam provides more finish choices. 

The Sitka 4-Leg Stack Chair with Casters is a multi-use chair for the office, classroom, meeting room and open spaces such as libraries or waiting rooms. It strikes a balance between the comfort features users appreciate and the nimbleness and space-saving qualities facilities managers require. Its unique design yields chairs that are easy to move, store and use without compromise. Tubular steel components join the seat and back, and form the legs and arms for all Sitka 4-Leg Stack Chairs. In contrast to these rigid frames, the poly back and seat are contoured to follow the curves of the body for a foam-free comfortable sit. The generous 18¼" x 18½" seat provides all the space needed to relax while the casters go a step further with built-in mobility.

Equally important is the look and style of the chairs to best define the space you use them in. Choose from 31 colors available for the frame, 25 colors of the Poly for the backrest and seat plus the practically unlimited choices for fabric or vinyl (if you choose the upholstered version). Casters are available only in black.

• Frame Color - Choose the frame color for all designs. Frame means the four legs and curved tubing holding the backrest.
• Seat and/or Backrest Poly Color - The poly color requirement is two fold:  1. For the front of the backrest and the top of the seat. 2. For the back of the backrest and the shell under the seat if you choose the upholstered backrest and/or seat. (See photo on the right)
• Seat and/or Backrest Fabric/Vinyl You may choose different options for the backrest and seat. If you choose fabric, the prices include Tier 1 fabric. Tier 2 fabric: +$10, Tier 3 fabric: contact your CSI Sales Representative for a quote. If you choose poly of the same color for the backrest and seat the price is listed below (scroll down). If you choose poly of different color for the backrest and seat, then add $59 per chair. A specialty charge will be added when you select  Diamond Translucent (PDT) or Pewter Translucent (PPT) for your poly selection.
